A Village, Model
Our daughter is forming a vision for a community. Starting with her, a flower, a home, and a river.
A good place to start!

Trees are inspiring. Especially in spring.
The team explores the high of this plum and finds a wild cherry fairy awaits.

X-mas morning was filled with imagination. Rogue conjures a dragon.

Walking back from the Farmer’s Market, Rogue grabs a lift.

Good connections, this one.
“Daddie, can I work on my skateboard”?
He brought in the board, and drill, and tightened it all up, ready for the road.

Focus on the top.

And the bottom.

Spencer was very excited to make it up to the snow on this trip. There is snow on the ground on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. It’s been here for a few weeks, and is pretty hard and icy.
First thing she did was work on this snowman outside. Determined, to make it just right, she is certainly taking things into her own hands.

We’re hosting an “Angel Making Party” in a few weeks. (ping me if you’d like to come, we’re in Bay Area).
Doing a test-run of Version 1, the simplest Angel. This can be made with just two items (white wool and gold/silver thread).
Step 1: Tear a strip of wool
Step 2. About this size
Step 3. Form it into a knot like this
Step 4. Fold it over on itself
Step 5. Pull apart another strip
Step 6. Fashion the second piece of wool between the other pieces, making her wings.
Step 7. Wrap her with the golden/silver thread.
Step 8. Cross the thread in an “X”, and tie it off.
Step 9. Use the remaining thread to use as a hanging thread.
Step 10. Hang her up on your tree, wall, ceiling. An angel is born.
Hanging out in Eric’s garage into the late night. The temptation to start Derik’s bike (Derik is Jill and Eric’s 8 year old) was palpable, and real. The loud “whweeeiiiinnnnnnggg” sound at 1am in RR was even more real.
The bike, KTM 50, with extra stuff. From what E says, the tires run down pretty quick on one of these guys.
Locating a few links to show the bike in action…especially in the air.
