The team hosted a puppet show rendition of the story “The Sun Egg” for some of the young peeps in our neighborhood. It was a warm event, even in the rain.
The puppet show was followed by some silk dying, wand making, and a visit from the Faerie Queen herself.

The team loaded up the wagon, threw Grandma Carmen in, and headed to the farm.
East Bay regional parks was hosting a sheep shearing festival at Ardenwood Farm.
The kids dig all the animals, we made sure we visited all the friends, including the little brown pigs.


Kids like to make stuff.
The team brought dyed wool and a bucket full of soapy water to the Farmer’s Market.
It was a maker market rendezvous. For the children.

Whilst on a recent walk to the park, noticed a few examples of the Berkeley flavor of graffiti.
Chard (which grows well in the Berkeley climate) was here.

The Berkeley Natives (case in point, Live Oaks) meshing with others.

Perhaps this gang will take up an eco-farming project with their next rampage? Clean the streams!
While at dinner, Jenna did the rounds and found each of the girls had laid.
Winter has really ended.
Breakfast in sight.

As we walked outside, Spencer said “turtle”. It was there in the sky.
We had just been talking about them, so was surprised to see one show up so quickly.
Think it rained later.

We’ve had some visitor’s at our home, some from nearby, some from far away. For some reason, this gesture by our daughter reminds me of the differences of sameness.

Puppets downstairs. Couch, to the stars, where space and time meet.

Spencer’s Morning Glory class shared Valentine’s this year, each child had the option to make one gift for every child in class.
We stopped by the Valentine Tea and Cake celebration and got to see the children and have nice treats. And sing.
A tisket, a tasket, a green and yellow basket…
The work from her 5-6 year old companions is so interestingly diverse.
